Les Terrasses de Begur combines the perfect blend of the sea and the mountains of the
Empordà. A unique project of 10 single-family houses marked by their integration into the Mediterranean landscape and its sustainability.
The houses mark the line of new construction on the Costa Brava with a modern architecture in earthy colours and with modern architecture and classic materials. Respectful environmentally friendly, the homes will have an A-A Energy Rating, which guarantees low energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, they will have the voluntary BREEAM sustainability seal, which guarantees a sustainable design and construction process.
The houses will be a residential community with a central landscaped area with a
garden with swimming pool. They are distributed around this garden with a nice terraces that separated with small walls of recycled stone.
The residential community has been designed by studying the optimal orientation and sunlight to guarantee a very low energy demand, which, together with the envelope used (light steel and lightened concrete structures and high-efficiency and high-efficiency insulation) generate practically no on-site waste and minimise the carbon footprint, with the particularity that the majority of the components are recycled, guaranteeing an environmentally responsible and circular architecture.
